SPUN – MAGIS

Spun is not just a seat, it is a new concept of seating and sitting: it is harmonious, dynamic and perfectly symmetrical, reminiscent of a cotton cone or a vase on a potter’s wheel. A captivating contemporary sculpture when still, Spun becomes a comfortable and fun seat when moving, a seat in which we can experience new sensations, rediscover the pleasure of rocking, turning 360°, and playing with the world around us. Created by Magis creative and researcher Thomas Heatherwick, this unconventional seat received one of the highest honors in the design world, the 2014 ADI Compasso d’Oro Award.
