In the early ‘70s, within a strategy directed at typologically diversifying products in its catalogue, Zanotta begins producing furnishing accessories. Sciangai is the first important furnishing accessory proposed by Zanotta. The opening/closing mechanism is realized with a steel grommet. Amazing in its simplicity, it won the Compasso d’Oro Award in 1979.
