The luxurious wool blanket with the characteristic dotted pattern it’s a creation of Charles and Ray Eames in 1947.

On the occasion of the Eames Special Collection, Vitra will be launching a limited edition of this Eames Wool Blanket in 2023, in the warm Bordeaux color.

Family-owned since its founding in the 1950s, Vitra turns the ideas of some of the world’s best-known designers into reality. Although they are best known for their design of the Eames lounge chair, the influence of American designers Charles and Ray Eames extends to items such as the Dot Pattern Wool Blanket, featuring a pattern the duo created in 1947.

Crosses and dots come together in an abstract composition that makes the Dot Pattern Wool Blanket a work of art in itself. It is made using time-honored jacquard weaving techniques and is made from the delicious 100% merino wool, which is known for its softness, lightweightness, and excellent heat retention.

This blanket can be used in both the living room and the bedroom, a wonderful companion for chilly evenings!
